Plumbing Superintendent - Travel Required

Provide overall direction for field installation of assigned project. Owns direct responsibility for “field labor, labor coordination, production quality control, and safety” on assigned project. Represents RMS on the project site and ensures that the installation functions as designed and satisfies the contracted scope. TRAVEL REQUIRED.

High Level Job Functions

Foreman Level

• Attends and contributes to the various Operations Meetings
• Blueprint reading, coordination, layout, sketching, and materials take off
• Material, tool, and equipment handling, which includes ordering, receiving, placing and returning
• Contract scope delineations—Must be able to confirm that construction drawings and specs agree with contract scope and to respond to general contractor’s requests concerning any scope limits
• Time keeping and other administrative duties, which includes but isn’t limited to daily reports, submittal logs, RFI status, TEST REPORTS etc.
• Ensuring that safety standards and other company programs are implemented and effective
• Building code compliance /IPC/ ADA
• Quality Control
• Transport fabricated parts to construction sites for assembly and installation
• Production management
• Subcontractor management

Superintendent Level

• All foreman level functions
• Trade stacking and phasing; influence project scheduling, 3 week look aheads

Detailed Job Functions
