There are direct reports with this position. POSITION SUMMARY:

Under broad supervision, the Plumbing Supervisor supervises the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems. Oversees and manages plumbing related projects at a federal installation. Employees in this job class make decisions necessary to ensure continued base operations. This job class requires comprehensive knowledge of plumbing methodologies; federal and state codes, laws and regulations and the ability to organize, budget, and manage multiple projects. TYPICAL DUTIES:

1. *Directs and supervises skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of plumbing expenditures and procedures for plumbing systems maintenance.

2. *Estimates material and labor.

3. *Ensures budgetary guidelines are met; prioritizes expenditures to stay within budget and assists in the preparation of capital and operations budgets.

4. *Schedules and prioritizes tasks, and ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.

5. *Manages governmental compliance program and develops compliance reports.
