General Purpose

The Service Plumber Technician is responsible for assisting experienced plumbers in completing service work on multi-family properties. Apprentices will learn fundamental plumbing techniques, safety procedures, and customer service skills while contributing to the completion of service calls. ESSENTIAL JOB DETAILS

Assist technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. Perform all work in compliance of the North Carolina Plumbing Code. Independently perform basic plumbing jobs (level 1-3). Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites. Learn and apply safety practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to safe lifting techniques to prevent injury and ensure workplace safety. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support operational needs outside of regular working hours. Perform basic tasks such as cutting, measuring, threading, and assembling pipes.
