Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and systems.
• Perform pipe threading and welding as necessary for different plumbing applications.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment on construction sites.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Apply basic math skills to measure, cut, and fit pipes accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction plumbing is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
