Residential Plumbing Service Technician

Drain Time Plumbing is hiring an Plumbing Service Technician. You will have the opportunity to diagnose plumbing problems, determine the best course of action for repair, write estimates, and perform the necessary repairs/installations. This position will report to the Field Manager and collaborate with Install and Labor teams. What Will You Do?

A successful Plumbing Service Technician understands that strong technical skills and strong communication go hand in hand. You must be comfortable discussing pricing, explaining findings, and recommending appropriate solutions.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install residential/commercial plumbing systems
• Service fixtures, water heaters (tank and tankless), water lines, and gas lines
• Troubleshoot concealed plumbing issues and provide accurate written estimates
• Present repair and replacement options and explain pricing to homeowners
• Deliver professional customer service while meeting performance expectations
• Recommend solutions based on safety, efficiency, and customer needs
• Maintain service vehicle inventory and documentation
• Complete additional plumbing duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Generation: The Plumbing Service Technician generates and secures plumbing sales through various leads, ensuring customer satisfaction and company growth. This position involves accurate job bidding, maintaining strong customer relationships, and meeting sales quotas.
• Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to company policies while operating company vehicles.
• Job Management: Monitor plumbing repair, sewer and re-pipe jobs daily to ensure they progress as planned and meet contractual timelines.
