Senior Estimator (Mechanical/Plumbing)

Williams Plumbing based in Belgrade Montana is looking for a Senior Estimator to lead the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for large and complex mechanical and plumbing projects. This role goes beyond just building estimates - you’ll help shape bid strategy, mentor team members, and ensure consistency and quality across all estimating efforts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide oversight and final validation of complex estimates, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment across all scopes
• Lead bid strategy and risk assessment in partnership with Estimating Manager, shaping pricing approach for high-value projects
• Perform deep analysis of construction documents to identify scope gaps, design risks, and cost exposures
• Direct vendor and subcontractor strategy, including leveling, negotiations, and final buyout recommendations
• Own final estimate development, including full cost modeling (labor, material, equipment, subcontractors, overhead, contingency)
• Mentor the estimating team, driving standards, consistency, and continuous process improvement
