Senior Plumber

MSD is looking for a Plumbing Foreman to join our team!

The Plumbing Foreman supervises plumbing team members (Journeymen and apprentices) during all phases of construction activities. The Plumber Foreman assigns jobs in accordance with organizational, local, state, and federal guidelines. The Plumbing Foreman ensures work is completed within budgetary constraints and follows all applicable safety procedures. The Plumbing Foreman supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.

This role will require travel within 50 miles of your location.

Minimum Requirements of the Plumbing Foreman are

• Strong ability to interpret plumbing blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a journeyman plumber with active licensure and a valid US Driver’s license.
• Completion of a state-sponsored plumbing apprenticeship program and high school diploma or GED required; additional college education is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and have the necessary tools to perform trade duties.

Key Job Duties of the Plumbing Foreman

• Oversee and coordinate on-site plumbing operations, including assigning tasks, training, and mentoring team members.
• Manage plumbing project schedules, priorities, and materials, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct plumbing inspections, ensure proper documentation, and provide continuous training to apprentices and personnel.
• Promote safety practices and ensure team members work efficiently, maintaining required certifications and licenses.
