CMTA, formerly known as AMA Group, is seeking an Associate Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and managing a range of projects, both large and small, with a focus on providing technical leadership in Plumbing/Fire Protection design. As part of this role, you will act as the face of AMA during all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other members of the project team.

This position is a first-level project team manager, and you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of a team. Due to the diverse range of project types and sizes, you may at times be accountable for individual technical design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, coordinate, and conduct daily team activities
• Advance the design of projects under your supervision
• Coordinate and lead daily team activities with inside and outside design team members
• Advance the design of the project with those you supervise
• Become responsible for managing projects through all phases of development
• Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex projects
• Learn and understand contract terms and the scope of service
• Responsible for all facets of product delivery to assigned clients and shares accountability for satisfaction
• Manage a significant amount of work as a project manager and be responsible for several projects
