Service Plumber

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Plumber to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, works independently, and ensures all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and faulty fixtures
• Repair, replace, and install pipes, valves, faucets, water heaters, toilets, and other plumbing components
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Provide accurate estimates and explain repair options to customers
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
• Deliver professional, courteous, and timely customer service
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service plumber (residential and/or commercial)
• Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by local regulations)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills

Skills & Abilities

• Experience with water heaters, drain cleaning, and emergency repairs
• Knowledge of modern plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer or mobile app skills for job documentation

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Requires standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75lbs), and working in confined spaces
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
