Service Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Plumber to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing service and repair, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide high-quality service to our customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring all work meets local codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment (water, gas, drainage, and waste systems). * Troubleshoot plumbing issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions. * Repair or replace water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, and other plumbing components. * Perform service calls, inspections, and preventative maintenance for residential and commercial customers. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications when necessary. * Ensure compliance with state and local plumbing, building codes, regulations, and safety standards. * Provide accurate estimates and explain repair options to customers. * Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other trades when necessary. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs. * Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. * Train or guide apprentices when needed. * Identify potential plumbing issues and recommend preventative maintenance solutions.

Qualifications

* Valid Journeyman Plumber license (preferred but not needed). * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plumbing trade. * Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and service techniques. * Experience in diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial plumbing systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. * Physical ability to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. *...
