Experienced Plumbing / HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing / HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing and HVAC service and repair, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide high-quality service to our customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while ensuring all work meets local codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC systems, including water, gas, drainage, heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality equipment. * Troubleshoot plumbing and HVAC issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions. * Repair or replace water heaters, boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, thermostats, plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, drains, and other plumbing/HVAC components. * Perform service calls, inspections, and preventative maintenance for residential and commercial customers. * Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, plumbing schematics, and technical specifications when necessary. * Ensure compliance with state and local plumbing, mechanical, building codes, regulations, and safety standards. * Provide accurate estimates and explain repair or replacement options to customers. * Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other trades when necessary. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs. * Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. * Train or guide apprentices when needed. * Identify potential plumbing and HVAC system issues and recommend preventative maintenance solutions.
