Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using construction plumbing techniques on various sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations and repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading devices to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate construction or remodeling projects.
• Perform welding and assembly work as needed for custom pipe fittings or system modifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems, including HVAC components related to water supply or drainage.
• Collaborate with construction teams and contractors on-site to ensure project specifications are met accurately.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of building codes and safety standards.
• Hands-on knowledge of welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling projects, carpentry skills, and handyman experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely on construction sites.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizes and layouts.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials or equipment.
