What to Expect

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping and Plumbing Superintendent to lead the installation, coordination, and quality control of mechanical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of piping and plumbing work, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and project timelines. This role requires a strong leader with advanced technical expertise and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with subcontractors, engineers, and project managers within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

What You'll Do

* Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems (low temp chilled water, process heating and cooling water, compressed air, process piping) and mechanical equipment (air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers) and plumbing systems (domestic, industrial, reclaimed water, sanitary sewer) * Lead daily whiteboard meetings with contractors to plan work and conduct weekly safety meetings to assess safety adherence and project progress * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other trades (electrical, structural) to integrate MEP systems into the overall project * Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality standards * Perform regular inspections to ensure piping and plumbing systems comply with blueprints, codes (ASME, ASHRAE, UPC, NFPA), and industry standards * Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols on-site * Assist in the testing, startup, and turnover of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring system readiness

What You'll Bring
