Primary Duties and Responsibilities

* High quality welding utilizing the GTAW, GMAW & FCAW processes. * Fitting and welding of component parts, equipment, piping systems and vessels as specified by procedures, detailed fabrication drawings, written work orders and verbal instruction. * Operate and/or use related fabrication equipment and tools including but not limited to forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, cutting torches, power hand tools, and measuring instruments. * Read, comprehend and follow job order specifications, drawings, work instructions, and procedures. * Perform and understand basic mathematical and problem solving skills. * Report safety related issues and violations to management. * Perform or assist with other fabrication duties as requested by management. * Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies. * Discuss ideas and thoughts for improving work environment, quality and / or production with management.

Job Functions

* Perform job functions in the standing position as well as other physical positions as needed to accommodate restrictive weld locations. * Ability to pass welder qualification test in accordance to ASME Sect. IX, AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.6 utilizing the GTAW, GMAW & FCAW processes. * Flexibility to work additional hours if needed to accommodate demanding delivery schedules. * Perform work in a heavy industrial environment. * Ability to wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and including but not limited to hearing protection, safety glasses, safety boots, face shield, full welding op...
