Plumbing Apprentice - Position Summary

Leib Plumbing is seeking a motivated, dependable Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade while learning from experienced licensed plumbers. You'll receive hands-on training in residential and light commercial plumbing, helping deliver exceptional service to our customers while developing the skills needed to become a licensed plumber.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Learn to diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment safely to job sites.
• Install and repair water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, faucets, water heaters, disposals, and other plumbing components.
• Assist with sewer, drain, and water line repairs.
• Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Accurately document completed work and materials used.
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Leib Plumbing professionally.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and apprenticeship education.

QualificationsRequired

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.

Preferred

• Enrollment in a plumbing apprenticeship program.
• Previous construction, maintenance, HVAC, or mechanical experience.
• OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
