Our preference is an in-office estimator who can collaborate closely with our team. However, remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record of winning commercial plumbing projects and the ability to work independently.

Conn-ect Plumbing LLC is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Plumbing Estimator with a proven history of winning work—not just submitting bids. We are looking for someone who consistently produces accurate, competitive estimates and plays a key role in securing profitable commercial projects.

This is a high-impact role where your estimating ability directly influences the growth and success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial plumbing projects
• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Prepare competitive proposals and bid packages
• Coordinate with project managers for smooth project handoff
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, suppliers, and owners
• Manage multiple bids while consistently meeting deadlines
• Track awarded and lost projects for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience
• Proven track record of winning commercial plumbing work
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a 30–40% (or better) bid award ratio on competitively bid projects
• Strong experience estimating:
• Tenant finish / tenant improvement projects
• Ground-up construction projects
• Restaurant construction and build-outs
• Commercial remodel and renovation projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software (FastPIPE, Trimble, McCormick, QuoteSoft, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PDF markup tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Design-build estimating
• Healthcare, education, industrial, hospitality, and multi-family projects
• Value engineering and budget estimating
• Established relationships with general contractors
