Handyman Plumber – Independent Contractor (North Shore / North Suburbs Chicago)

Windy Shore Handyman is looking for a licensed plumber to join our contractor network. We handle all the marketing, scheduling, payment processing and customer communication — you just show up and do great work. We're getting a steady stream of plumbing-related jobs (leaky faucets, running toilets, ejector pump swaps, garbage disposal replacements, and similar) and want someone who can own that side of things, with some general handyman skills as a bonus.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and fixing common residential plumbing issues — leaking faucets, running/leaking toilets, ejector pump replacement, garbage disposal swaps, and similar repair work
• Occasional basic handyman tasks (patching, minor carpentry, door/doorknob replacement, etc.) when the job calls for it
• Communicating professionally with homeowners and providing before/after photos of completed work

What we're looking for

• Must be a licensed plumber (Illinois license required)
• Own tools and reliable transportation
• Own general liability insurance ($1M minimum) — Certificate of Insurance required before your first job
• Reliable, professional, and communicative — shows up on time, no ghosting
• Comfortable working independently in customers' homes
