Hardware and Plumbing Sales Associate

Ithaca Ace Hardware has a hardware sales associate position available for a self-motivated individual that can deliver our promise of exceptional customer service and leadership.

Responsibilities

o Work with customers assisting with hardware, plumbing, and electrical purchasing decisions.

o Stock shelves, inventory, prepare invoices, price changes, key and glass cutting, and mix paint on a as needed basis

o Help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.

Requirements

o High school diploma or equivalent

o Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general hardware skills

o Self motivated, independent, reliable with strong work ethic.

o Knowledge of retail point of sale computer systems

o Commitment to service excellence and customer service

o Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills

o Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Compensation

o $20-$23 per hour based on experience
