Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician with Light Plumbing expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems and mechanical equipment across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
• Perform light plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe repairs, fittings, and drainage issues.
• Diagnose electrical problems using tools like ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot system faults effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
• Maintain compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing necessary certifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Repair mechanical systems including welding, equipment repair, boiler servicing, and ammonia refrigeration when necessary.
• Utilize field service techniques to respond promptly to service calls while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
• Service technician experience working on mechanical systems in commercial or residential settings.
