Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Perform electrical work including wiring, circuit testing with tools like ohmmeters, and troubleshooting electrical components in mechanical systems.
• Conduct plumbing repairs involving pipe fitting, fixture replacement, leak detection, and maintenance of water supply and drainage systems.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to service appliances, perform welding tasks when necessary, and repair or replace mechanical components of HVAC/R equipment.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for compliance and future reference.
• Assist in property maintenance tasks such as equipment calibration, system upgrades, and ensuring safety standards are met across all systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in construction-related fields such as HVAC, electrical work, or plumbing.
