Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise in pipefitting, welding, and blueprint interpretation will be essential to delivering high-quality work on time and within scope. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine piping layouts and specifications.
• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG, and welding standards.
• Perform pipe fitting tasks including cutting, bending, soldering, and pipe threading to ensure proper fit and function.
• Conduct welding inspections adhering to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards.
• Install fire sprinkler systems and plumbing components while following safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.
• Use calipers, schematics, and other measuring tools for precise pipe fabrication and assembly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to power tool safety, rigging procedures, and construction site regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on pipeline installation projects in manufacturing or construction settings while adhering to OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues within piping systems for ongoing maintenance or repairs.
