Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with construction plans and schematics
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly of plumbing components using hand tools and power tools
• Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and operations (MRO) on existing plumbing systems in various settings
• Install gas piping systems safely while following all relevant codes and regulations
• Collaborate with construction teams to interpret construction plans and coordinate installation schedules
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work, including carpentry-related duties when necessary
• Read basic math measurements to ensure precise installation of plumbing components
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification demonstrating journeyman status
