Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in new construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete installations and repairs
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct system inspections to identify issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks effectively
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification recognized by local authorities
• Proven experience in construction plumbing within commercial or residential settings
• Strong mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe installation techniques
