Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in new construction, remodels, or maintenance projects
• Assemble, install, and repair piping systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing components to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless workflow
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
• Read and apply mechanical schematics and blueprints to ensure precise placement of pipes, fixtures, and related components
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction plumbing practices on commercial or residential sites
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines
