*The Kamehameha Schools Maui campus is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join their Campus Operations team. A strong background in the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems is highly preferred.* *This is a full-time regular position offering a comprehensive benefits package.*

Job Summary

Performs maintenance, repair, and modifications of campus plumbing systems, equipment, and machinery. This includes the maintenance of water distribution systems, water mains, fire hydrants, and irrigation systems, as well as well-pumping and treatment stations for certain campuses, as applicable. Works closely with internal team to coordinate workflow and ensure efficient, high-quality project completion. Constructs, installs, maintains, repairs, and tests water and wastewater systems, both above and below ground, in compliance with safety and quality standards. Assists in reviewing work orders, estimating time and materials, and identifying supplies for requisition.

Essential Responsibilities

• Monitors water quality in accordance with Department of Health regulations, under the direction of the manager.
• Provides plumbing hook-ups as required for special events on and off campus.
• Repairs gas, compressed air and sprinkler lines as required.
• Supports the maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure safety standards and operational reliability.
