Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure and efficient piping systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems on construction sites or during maintenance visits to identify issues proactively.
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project workflows.
• Use basic math skills to measure materials accurately, calculate pipe lengths, and determine flow rates.
• Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in remodeling projects by performing plumbing upgrades or modifications as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection reports for compliance purposes.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Experience

• Proven field service experience as a Journeyman Plumber or in a similar construction plumbing role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing techniques including pipe threading, welding, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
