Journeyman Plumber

The Board Store is looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our installation team. If you enjoy residential remodeling and take pride in quality workmanship, we’d love to talk with you.

This position focuses exclusively on kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects completed by The Board Store. You’ll work alongside experienced carpenters and installation crews, performing plumbing installations that meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Install plumbing systems, pipe assemblies, valves, fittings, sinks, toilets, dishwashers, and other plumbing fixtures for residential remodeling projects.
• Inspect existing plumbing systems to determine repair or replacement needs.Perform plumbing installations and repairs in accordance with Wisconsin and Minnesota plumbing codes.
• Test completed plumbing systems to ensure proper function, pressure, and leak-free operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues encountered during installations.
• Collaborate with Operations staff and installation crews to keep projects on schedule.
• Answer customer questions professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and The Board Store safety policies.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License required
• Residential plumbing and remodeling experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing codes and installation practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
