Bell Plumbing of Indianapolis, IN is looking to start a plumbing division to build upon our platform of loyal customers! The ideal candidate is safety conscious and mechanically inclined who is also a self-starter, organized, dependable, and possesses exceptional communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead small crews or designated portions of larger commercial plumbing projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities for assigned personnel.
• Independently perform advanced commercial plumbing installations and repairs.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements before beginning work.
• Coordinate plumbing work with general contractors and other trades.
• Ensure work is installed according to plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and code.
• Monitor jobsite productivity and quality standards.
• Identify material needs and communicate shortages to supervisors and project managers.
• Prepare work areas for inspections and coordinate inspection readiness.
• Train, mentor, and develop Tech 1, Tech 2, and Tech 3 employees.
• Communicate job progress, challenges, delays, and change conditions to project management.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite environment.

• Perform necessary tasks on all phases of plumbing by relying on experience and knowledge
• Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in water, gas, and drainage systems according to specifications and building codes
• Troubleshoot service issues
• Makes decisions on all normal & complex repairs and reports major problems to/consults with management as appropriate
• Make decisions on site, without disruption to clients and job quality

Qualifications

• Required-Possession of a plumber's license
• 4-5 years of demonstrated Plumbing installation experience
• High School Diploma or GED
