Reports To

Directly responsible to the Supervisor of Maintenance and Facilities Managers. Cooperates fully with the building principal and Chief Custodian when performing maintenance in a school.

Basic Function

Maintenance A - Plumber is responsible for the major, common, and

preventative maintenance repair related to a variety of school plumbing services as assigned by Supervisor or designee. Successful candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of the tools, techniques and terminology of the plumbing trade.

Qualifications

+ Journeyman's Certificate or equivalent. + Demonstrated ability to perform tasks in specific craft. + Trade school, apprenticeship, preferred; or demonstrated skill with a reputable firm will be considered if acceptable to the District. + Physical ability to perform above duties.

Salary Range

Commensurate with appropriate salary schedule
