Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing schematics, the ability to work with various hand tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Plumber will be expected to work effectively on construction sites and collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret plumbing schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, and pipes using appropriate hand tools.
• Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply and drainage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
• Provide maintenance person services as needed, including carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools used in plumbing work.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• A background in carpentry or maintenance person services is advantageous but not required.
