Plumber (Commercial)

seeking an experienced Plumber with substantial facilities maintenance expertise to join our Facilities Maintenance and Management team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across the JPL campus, ensuring that all facilities operate efficiently and safely.

Pay: $44.26 /hour

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to support overall campus operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Utilize hand and power tools, as well as specialized plumbing equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
