Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly tasks
• Perform welding and other mechanical tasks required for specialized plumbing components or system modifications
• Conduct heavy lifting of pipes, fixtures, and equipment safely to meet project demands
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of systems
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites and operating heavy machinery or vehicles

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge of piping systems
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and remodeling processes is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or confined spaces as needed
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is advantageous
