Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and plumbing and be comfortable working on various construction sites. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure all plumbing systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
• Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
