Plumber Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage components using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct plumbing inspections utilizing cameras and schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation and repairs aligned with project specifications.
• Perform pipe threading, pipe fitting, welding, and assembly tasks in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
• Utilize construction experience to work on remodeling projects, heavy lifting tasks, and site-specific plumbing modifications.
• Inspect water systems for leaks or malfunctions; perform routine maintenance to prevent future issues.
• Collaborate with construction teams to interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and HVAC plans for integrated system installations.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and plumbing inspection cameras efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in the interpretation of local building codes to ensure all work complies with legal standards.
• Support construction site activities through carpentry skills or handyman experience as needed.

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in commercial or residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics, blueprints reading, and pipe threading.
• Experience with welding, HVAC systems, plumbing inspection cameras, and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with local building codes related to water systems and plumbing installation standards.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and assembly techniques on construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to travel between job sites as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting plumbing issues during maintenance or repair tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interpreting schematics and collaborating effectively within teams.
