*Air Force Material Command is looking for a full-time Plumber, WG-4206-09, to work at 96 Test Wing, 96 Civil Engineer Group, 796 Civil Engineer Squadron, Alarms Shop (CES/CEOFA) at Eglin Air Force Base.*

*The primary purpose of this position is to perform the full range of journeyman level plumbing duties such as installing, repairing, and modify water supply, sewage disposal, and similar utility systems and equipment to include water mains, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, sewage pumps, and lawn irrigation systems.*

Typical 2026 salary range: $63,876 - $74,484 per year

Major Duties

* *Independently installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains a variety of new and existing utility, supply , and disposal systems and equipment such as sewage, water, water closets, tubs, backflow prevention devices/assemblies, fire sprinkler systems, and showers.*

* *Plans and accomplishes work from initial layout to final assembly which involves interpreting, and applying building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and other plumbing guides/codes, and using shop mathematics.*

* *Troubleshoot/test various plumbing systems and equipment including backflow prevention devices such as reduced pressure principles devices, double check devices, atmospheric vacuum breakers, and other cross connection devices.*
