Plumbing/HVAC Service Manager

Mark Torgent Mechanical, Inc. is growing! We’ve built our business on plumbing and are now expanding into HVAC service. We’re looking for a Service Manager who wants to help build, grow, and lead a service department. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys creating things. In this role, you’ll help shape processes, grow revenue, support technicians, and create exceptional customer experiences.

The service department is currently small, but with growth as a goal, we are actively looking for the right person to lead this initiative. What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical experience – relevant experience in plumbing, HVAC, and/or construction is helpful to assist as needed with technician support and pricing/estimating
• Entrepreneurial mindset – a desire to build something, not just maintain it
• Positive attitude – a "can do" outlook and the willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Strong leadership skills – the ability to effectively inspire and lead people and take charge of projects
• Initiative – ability to self-start, identify tasks, and prioritize work independently

• Organization – ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
• Follow up – see each and every task through to completion
• Administrative skills – adept at budgeting, planning, analyzing results, and general business operations
• Professional communication – comfortable interacting with customers and employees, both verbally and in writing
• Technology skills – familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and the ability to research, select, and learn new software as needed
