Performs on-site inspections on plumbing systems and installations. Works closely with contractors and building owners to determine compliance of newly constructed, remodeled, and existing structure to state and local codes. Examines construction plans and blueprints to determine compliance to applicable codes. Initiates compliance actions when violations are found. Maintains records and prepares a variety of reports along with assisting residents with questions regarding plumbing systems.
