The Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction enforces statewide standards for building construction. The Division of Plumbing is responsible for conducting plumbing inspections and permitting plumbing installations to ensure compliance with the state plumbing code and the regulations of the department.

Key Responsibilities: * Inspect all plumbing installations and report violation findings. * Perform preliminary reviews of local plans concerning plumbing and sanitation. * Maintain files, reports, and permits. * Issue permits electronically and process payments. * Monitor licensee statuses and water heater device reporting.

Skills and Expectations include but are not limited to the following: * Proficient Communication Skills. * Possess sufficient technical knowledge of Kentucky State Plumbing Law, Regulations and Code. * Proven abilities to management multiple projects. * Conduct effective research. * Demonstrates attention to detail. * High Level of Customer Service.
