Plumbing Install Helper

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Install Helper to assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on various construction and remodeling projects. This role offers hands-on experience in the plumbing trade and exposure to construction site operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Prior construction or field service experience is preferred but not required. This position is paid and provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in plumbing and related trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems according to project specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively
• Support with cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes and fixtures using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA standards during all work activities
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites, plumbing installation, or related trades
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, welding
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for installation tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials as required
• Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully
• Construction site experience or handyman background is advantageous but not mandatory

This position offers valuable on-the-job training for those interested in building a career in plumbing or construction trades.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
