Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Plumbing Service Manager to lead our plumbing department while helping shape the future of our growing organization.

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing daily plumbing operations, coaching technicians, improving profitability, optimizing ServiceTitan, supporting estimating, maintaining exceptional customer service, and continuously improving operational processes.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading people, solving operational challenges, analyzing data, and rolling up their sleeves when needed.

What You'll Do

• Lead the daily operations of the plumbing service department.
• Coach, mentor, and develop plumbing technicians to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage technician scheduling, productivity, and workflow.
• Utilize ServiceTitan to monitor KPIs, dashboards, reporting, dispatch efficiency, memberships, and job profitability.
• Review estimates, invoices, job costing, and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure accurate billing, inventory tracking, and material usage.
• Support our Good / Better / Best sales process while helping technicians provide whole-home solutions.
• Monitor follow-up on unsold estimates and improve conversion rates.
• Partner with dispatch, warehouse, customer service, and leadership to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology and automation.
• Train employees on new systems, procedures, and best practices.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain departmental accountability through regular reporting and performance management.
• Build a positive culture focused on teamwork, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of plumbing estimating experience.
• Minimum 2 years of ServiceTitan experience.
• Previous leadership or management experience.
• Strong understanding of residential service plumbing operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies.
• Experience managing KPIs, productivity metrics, and profitability.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Experience implementing operational improvements.
• Experience leading technician training and development.
• Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing.
• Experience with flat-rate pricing and service sales.
• HVAC service management experience is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
