Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drain Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and plumbing, with the ability to handle various tasks related to drain installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Drain Technician will work on construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair drainage systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
• Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
• Conduct routine inspections of drainage systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
• Assist in remodeling projects that involve plumbing work as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction plumbing or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience with carpentry tasks is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy materials consistently throughout the workday.
• Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions.
• Maintenance Person experience is advantageous for diverse job responsibilities.
