Plumbing Technician & Sales Representative

Position Overview

As a plumbing technician, your responsibility is to perform residential and commercial plumbing services, including drain cleaning and repair work. A plumbing technician is customer-focused, technically skilled, and comfortable presenting and selling recommended plumbing solutions to clients in a professional and ethical manner

Responsibilities

Plumbing and Technical Duties

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Install and repair water lines, plumbing fixtures fixtures, valves, and plumbing and boiler systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues with accuracy
• Work independently to complete jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers and office
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• On call rotation

Customer Service & Sales Responsibilities

* Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnoses, repair options, and pricing * Present recommended repairs or upgrades and sell plumbing services based on customer needs * Build trust with customers through professional appearance, honesty, and quality workmanship * Upsell preventative maintenance, system upgrades, or additional services when appropriate * Obtain customer approval before performing work General Responsibilities

* Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle * Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE * Participate in ongoing training to stay current with plumbing techniques and products * Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Working Conditions

• Field-based work environment with exposure to indoor and outdoor elements.
• Regularly required to stand, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
