Plumbing Technician

Job Summary

Keith Lawson Services is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing Service Technician in the Tallahassee area. This position will be responsible for repairing and maintaining well-functioning plumbing systems that transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids.

Responsibilities

· Handle each service call assigned on time.

· Perform a complete Diagnostic Inspection on every call.

· Recommend a minimum of (2) “Add Ons” on each service ticket.

· Complete service tickets Tech Tool program

· Use proper pricing procedures listed in KLS Flat Rate Book and/or Time and Materials Method when instructed.

· Follow Dispatcher’s instructions for collecting payment.

· Be on-call or standby when scheduled by Dispatcher

Skills

· Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings

· Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances

· Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Friendly with a great deal of patience

Required Qualifications

· Proven experience as a plumber

· Highschool diploma or equivalent

· Willing and able to work a 40+ hour week

· Work outside in various weather conditions

· Clear criminal record for educational and correctional facility projects

· Valid State Driver’s License

· Diploma from trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
