Residential Service Plumber

Veteran family owned company with a great reputation. We stay busy and need experienced, responsible and friendly techs to provide high level service to our clients. We are looking to hire a great team that wants to get in on the ground floor and help make us a force to be reckoned with. A great opportunity to grow with us. Seeking an individual with a solid foundation in service plumbing and or HVAC with a strong work ethic. A successful candidate will be friendly with excellent verbal skills. You must have pride in your work and like helping our clients. You need to be open to learning new things. The work will include a wide variety of different tasks in the plumbing industry. You may be doing maintenance one day and a reroute the next. Pay is billable hours plus spiffs and bonus. We pay weekly via direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning
• Diagnose, repair or replace fixtures and equipment. (eg. water heaters, toilets, faucets)

Skills

• Proven experience as a plumber
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in buildings.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (torches, pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, drain cleaners etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• Valid and clean drivers licence
• Knowledge of HVAC a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
