Job Overview

Viking Plumbing & Rooter is seeking an experienced PL02 Residential Specialist or PL04 Residential Service Plumber with a strong background in service plumbing, diagnostics, repairs, and emergency response. This is not a new construction position. We are looking for a plumber who excels at troubleshooting plumbing issues, communicating with customers, and providing effective repair solutions in residential and light commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in service work, capable of working independently, and available to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service calls. Candidates should be comfortable diagnosing complex plumbing problems, presenting repair options, and completing work efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

This is NOT a commission based job. Additionally, company vehicle may be provided to qualified candidates after successful completion of the probationary period. Reliable transportation is required during the onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
• Respond to emergency plumbing service calls, including after-hours and weekend calls as part of an on-call rotation.
• Repair and replace water heaters, tankless water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, angle stops, supply lines, and other plumbing components.
• Clear and diagnose drain and sewer stoppages using appropriate equipment.
• Perform leak detection and plumbing system diagnostics.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify code, safety, and maintenance concerns.
• Provide customers with repair recommendations and maintenance solutions.
