Licensed Plumbing Contractor / Installation Partner

About the Opportunity

Wellstead is building a residential water safety and filtration company serving Northeast Ohio. We are looking for licensed plumbing contractors, independent plumbers, or small plumbing companies interested in partnering on residential water filtration and water treatment installation projects.

This is a contract / subcontractor partner opportunity, not a traditional W2 employee role.

We are currently validating demand in the market and looking for reliable plumbing partners who can help with early test installs, paid pilot installs, and future recurring installation work.

Type of Work

Projects may include

• Whole-home water filtration system installation
• Reverse osmosis system installation
• Water softener / conditioner installation
• UV system installation
• Shutoff, monitoring, or related water safety device installation
• Basic residential plumbing modifications tied to filtration installs
• Pre-install and post-install documentation, photos, and customer sign-off

Ideal Partner

We are looking for plumbers or plumbing companies who are

• Licensed or properly qualified to perform residential plumbing work in Ohio
• Insured or able to provide proof of coverage
• Experienced in residential plumbing, water treatment, filtration, RO, softeners, or related systems
• Comfortable working inside occupied homes
• Clean, professional, and customer-facing
• Reliable with scheduling and communication
• Able to document work with photos, notes, and completion sign-offs
• Open to project-based subcontract work
• Interested in a long-term partnership as the company grows

Nice to Have

• Experience installing water filtration or treatment equipment
• Ability to serve Akron, Kent, Canton, Cleveland suburbs, or surrounding Northeast Ohio areas
• Small crew or company capacity
• Interest in helping shape installation standards and training processes
