WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Survey existing plumbing systems and examine field conditions, as required to support the development and completion of projects. Review project scope, deliverables, and due dates. Perform code/standards reviews, including building codes, insurance carrier requirements, client standards, and other reviews. Determine the required Plumbing systems and criteria. Prepare engineering calculations, perform equipment selections, size pipe distribution systems, perform drafting and electronic drawing preparation, prepare specifications, coordinate with site utilities, and create riser and flow diagrams. Generate contract documents (piping plans, drainage and vent plans, details, schedules, and specifications). Participate in construction administration, such as answering RFIs and reviewing of shop drawings. Prepare and/or Draft red-line markups.
