Part-Time Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor

National Park College is seeking an experienced Part-Time Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor. The instructor will support the Plumbing Apprenticeship Program by leading evening classes on the National Park College campus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provide instruction to plumbing apprenticeship students as required. * Commitment to apprentice success in the program. * Communicate regularly with Apprenticeship Coordinator on progress of students in the program. * Submit sign in sheets and other documents to Apprenticeship Coordinator in a timely manner. * Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

* Knowledge of subject matter being taught. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve effectively.

Education and Experience

* Must hold at least a Journeyman’s License. * Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

* Long periods of sitting or standing. * Ability to lift 20 lbs. * Ability to work Monday and Tuesday evenings.
