Plumber

Live Building Systems is looking for a plumber with 1-2 years of experience to install water meters and shut-off valves on all domestic cold water risers in a multifamily residential apartment building.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
• Install water meters and related equipment
• Perform ProPress pipe installations and connections
• Solder copper piping and fittings
• Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing drawings
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform repairs
• Install water, waste, and vent piping systems
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members

Qualifications

• Previous plumbing experience required
• Experience with ProPress systems and copper soldering
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and industry standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber License (preferred but not required)
• Experience in commercial plumbing and meter installations
• Backflow certification is a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
