Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and renovation projects using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
• Operate plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues within existing water or sewer lines.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications.
• Perform pipe threading, pipe fitting, and assembly of plumbing components according to local building codes and safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance.
• Use welding techniques when necessary for pipe repairs or modifications involving metal components.
• Assist with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems related to plumbing setups in commercial settings.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic diagrams.
• Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with construction teams to interpret blueprints and schematics for seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, water systems, and plumbing system maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras effectively.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing plumbing work.
• Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, schematics interpretation, blueprint reading, and HVAC systems.
• Experience with construction site procedures including heavy lifting and working at heights when necessary.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise installations.
• Carpentry or handyman experience is a plus for remodeling projects requiring versatile skills.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for travel between job sites.

Pay: $31.09 - $37.44 per hour
